Conor Hogan, Ph.D.

Dr. Conor Hogan is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist in New Jersey and New York and a PsyPact authorized clinician, meaning he is able to provide services across most U.S. states via telehealth. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in forensic psychology from Montclair State University.

Dr. Hogan's forensic practice is grounded in direct, system level experience. Over the course of his career, he has worked embedded with the New Jersey State Parole Board, the New Jersey Department of Corrections, the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P), community mental health settings, and re-entry programs, giving him an operational understanding of the systems his evaluations speak to. He currently holds active roles within several of these systems. Dr. Hogan also currently serves as an adjunct professor at Montclair State University instructing graduate students in forensic psychology.

Dr. Hogan's research background includes work on grooming behaviors and the experiences of individuals navigating guilty plea decisions--areas that directly inform his approach to psychosexual evaluations, sentence mitigation, and criminal forensic work more broadly.

When attorneys retain Dr. Hogan, they can expect thorough, well-documented evaluations delivered on a timeline that respects the demands of an active litigation.

Dr. Hogan also provides a limited caseload of individual therapy, specializing in trauma and PTSD using EMDR, with particular experience serving individuals who have been involved in the legal system.
